Installation Method for Tungsten Steel Cutting Blades
1. Blade Holder Inspection:
Check if the axial and radial runout is excessive.
The surface in contact with the blade must be flat and free of damage.
This surface should be slightly higher on the outer edge and lower towards the center. The opposite (higher inside) is strictly prohibited, as it will subject the blade to uneven stress.
Ensure the surface is clean, with no debris or foreign objects. This is not permitted.
2. Fit Between the Blade and Holder Bore:
The fit must not be too tight. Otherwise, the blade cannot make full contact with the flat surface. Once the screw is tightened, the blade may crack.
3. Lubrication Component Alignment:
The blade must be centered within the lubrication groove, maintaining equal clearance on both sides. If not, the blade will rub against one side of the groove,承受 uneven force, which can lead to breakage.
Check if the blade holder or lubrication components are loose, as this can cause the above issue.
4. Corrugated Cardboard Support Roller:
For cutting corrugated cardboard, the blade should extend 5-10mm beyond the roller's groove surface.
Check that there is clearance between the blade and both sides of the roller groove. The reason is the same as for the lubrication component alignment.
5. Blade Edge Inspection:
Inspect the blade edge for any nicks, cracks, or dried adhesive residue.
